30% more power with KV710X: The new VSM non-woven series packs an impressive punch

VSM AG has launched another Surface Conditioning (SCM) series on the market: VSM KV710X, which has been developed for machining non-ferrous metals in particular as well as stainless steels and aluminium, offers a range of impressive performance gains.

While 30% more power than conventional Surface Conditioning series is already a big plus for the new VSM series, there are also many other advantages for the user: KV710X features an extremely constant scratch pattern combined with an outstanding removal rate over its very long service life. This makes the series especially suited to applications such as semi-finishing and finishing.

No clogging or smearing, even with non-ferrous metals

The new surface structure offered by KV710X is another bonus, since this makes the series the ideal choice for processing non-ferrous metals. Thanks to its homogeneous, open structure without inclusions or resin particles, the surface avoids potential clogging or smearing. This significantly extends the service life and results in a high rate of stock removal plus a consistently high-quality finish.

Adaptable and robust

Despite its sturdy, low-stretch X-cloth, the new VSM series is comparatively soft and flexible – making it ideal for achieving the kind of perfect finish needed on taps or kitchen surfaces, for example. The backing is also suitable for wet grinding.

Available now

KV710X is now available as an abrasive belt/disc as well as in rolls, in the grit sizes coarse, medium, very fine and ultra fine.
